TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Dominic Moore blasted the go-ahead goal with less than 4 minutes remaining Tuesday, boosting the Tampa Bay Lightning to 5-3 win over Boston.

With the score tied 3-3, Moore collected a pass from Ryan Malone and ripped a shot over the glove of Boston goalie Tim Thomas with 3:45 left in the third period.

Steven Stamkos added his NHL-best 31st goal of the season, and the 150th of his career, into an empty net to secure Tampa Bay's win, which snapped a seven-game losing skid.

Malone and Vincent Lecavalier each had a goal and an assist while Tom Pyatt also scored for the Bolts.

Mathieu Garon turned aside 26-of-29 shots to earn the victory.

Nathan Horton scored twice and Daniel Paille added a shorthanded goal for the Bruins, who lost for the second time in three games.

Thomas finished with 26 saves.
