NHL: Chicago 6, Buffalo 2

CHICAGO, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Two goals by Jonathan Toews Wednesday pushed the Chicago Blackhawks to their fourth win in five games, a 6-2 decision over Buffalo.

The Sabres lost their 10th consecutive road contest, with Jhonas Enroth giving up all six goals on 35 shots.

Marian Hossa put Chicago in front for good in the second period with a breakaway goal while Dave Bolland, Andrew Shaw and Jimmy Hayes all scored for the Blackhawks.

Jason Pominville delivered both Buffalo goals.

Corey Crawford made 27 saves for the Blackhawks, who jumped over both St. Louis and Detroit to take the lead by a point in the Central Division.
