TORONTO, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Kyle Turris snapped a shot past James Reimer early in third period Tuesday, providing the go-ahead goal in the Ottawa Senators' 3-2 win over Toronto.

With the score tied 2-2, Turris got control of the puck at center ice, skated down the right wing and fired a quick wrist shot from the circle that beat the Maple Leafs goalie to the glove side.

Craig Anderson put the Senators in position to win with 37 saves, including turning aside 21-of-21 in the second period as Ottawa battled back from a 2-0 deficit.

Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza scored for the Senators, who took the first contest of a six-game road trip.

Matthew Lombardi and Joffrey Lupul scored in the first period to gave the Leafs an early lead, but Reimer was touched for three goals on 21 shots to take the loss.
