NHL: New York Rangers 3, Nashville 0

NEW YORK, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Henrik Lundqvist notched his fourth shutout of the season Tuesday, making 27 saves in the New York Rangers' 3-0 whitewash of Nashville.

Lundqvist's busiest period was the first, when he made 11 saves. He followed that with eight stops each in the second and third to post his 20th victory of the season.

Dan Girardi, John Mitchell and Ryan Callahan scored for the Rangers.

Anders Lindback turned aside 26-of-28 shots for the Predators, who had a five-game winning streak snapped.
