Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard led five Magic players scoring in double figures Tuesday, finishing with 25 points in Orlando's 96-89 win over Charlotte.
Howard hauled down 17 rebounds while Hedo Turkoglu helped break the game open by scoring eight of his 15 points in the fourth quarter for Orlando.
Jameer Nelson scored 17 and Von Wafer and Ryan Anderson had 13 points each.
Gerald Henderson pumped in 22 points and Kemba Walker added 15 for the Bobcats, who lost for the eighth time in nine games.
