NBA: Houston 97, Detroit 80

HOUSTON, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Samuel Dalembert and Luis Scola both scored 14 points Tuesday to launch the Houston Rockets to a 97-80 win over Detroit.

Dalembert had 12 rebounds and was one of six Rockets to hit double figures in Houston's fourth consecutive victory.

Tayshaun Prince led the Pistons with 20 points. Ben Gordon scored 18 and Rodney Stuckey hit for 16.

Houston led 47-40 at the break and 69-59 after three quarters but stepped on the gas in the fourth quarter, extending their lead to as many as 18 points.
