DETROIT, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Todd Bertuzzi led a potent Red Wings attack with a goal and two assists Monday and Detroit won a 15th straight home game with a 5-0 verdict over Buffalo.

Jimmy Howard turned aside 27 shots to log his fifth shutout of the season for the Red Wings, who stayed unbeaten on their home ice since a 4-1 loss to Calgary Nov. 3 -- a franchise record.

Henrik Zetterberg, Darren Helm, Nicklas Lidstrom and Johan Franzen also scored for Detroit, which won for the fourth time in five games overall.

The Sabres dropped their ninth consecutive road contest.

Ryan Miller started in goal for Buffalo and was yanked in the second period after surrendering all five goals on just 14 shots.

Jhonas Enroth relieved and stopped 12-of-12 Detroit tries the rest of the way.
