Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Jonathan Quick stopped 29-of-30 shots Saturday and Los Angeles bested the Flames 4-1 in Kings Coach Darryl Sutter's return to Calgary.
Dustin Brown and Mike Richards each logged a goal and an assist for the Kings, who improved to 7-1-4 since the former Flames general manager took over behind the Los Angeles bench.
Darryl Sutter won in his first game coaching against his brother Brent, the Flames' current mentor.
Matt Greene and Anze Kopitar also scored as the Kings broke Calgary's eight-game home winning streak.
Mike Cammalleri recorded his first goal as a Flame after bring obtained from Montreal in exchange for forward Rene Bourque Thursday.
Miikka Kiprusoff yielded three goals on 23 LA shots.
