COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Patrick Marleau's goal with 2:57 left in regulation Saturday boosted the San Jose Sharks to their fifth win in six games, a 2-1 decision over Columbus.

Marleau scored on a big rebound yielded by Columbus goalie Curtis Sanford off a booming shot by Joe Pavelski on the decisive play, which broke a 1-1 deadlock.

Ryane Clowe also scored and Thomas Greiss logged his second straight win, turning aside 25-of-26 shots for the Sharks.

The Blue Jackets got their only goal from Rick Nash. Sanford finished with 31 saves.
