MONTREAL, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Ottawa's Daniel Alfredsson netted the only goal of a shootout Saturday, propelling the Senators to their fourth straight win with a 3-2 verdict over Montreal.

After the Senators' Craig Anderson stopped all three shots in the shootout, Alfredsson improved to 4-of-4 in tie-breakers with a quick-release shot that went between the pads of Carey Price.

Anderson ended with 33 saves. Price turned away 21-of-23 shots.

Jason Spezza and Kyle Turris tallied in regulation for the Senators, who improved to 8-0-1 overall in their last nine games.
