WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Kurtis Foster and Patrik Elias came through with goals down the stretch Saturday, rallying the New Jersey Devils to a 2-1 decision over Winnipeg.

Their third-period tallies were backstopped by Martin Brodeur, who turned aside 22 shots for the Devils.

New Jersey extended its hot streak, taking its fourth victory in five contests.

The Jets, meanwhile, could manage just Andrew Ladd's first-period score.

Ondrej Pavelec made 22 saves for injury-depleted Winnipeg, which lost its third in a row and fifth in six games.
