SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Tony Parker turned a close game into a rout by scoring 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter Friday, lifting San Antonio to a 99-83 win over Portland.

The contest was tied at 67-67 in the opening minute of the final period before San Antonio stormed in front to win for the eighth time in as many home games this season.

The Spurs have played on the road only four times and have lost them all.

Second-year forward Tiago Splitter scored 14 for the Spurs and Danny Green also came off the bench to produce 13 points.

Portland, which opened a six-game road trip, was led by LaMarcus Aldridge with 29 points.
