OSHKOSH, Wis., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Police in Oshkosh, Wis., say a body pulled from a river is that of the 21-year-old son of Green Bay Packers' offensive coordinator Joe Philbin.

Police said foul play was not suspected in the death of Michael Philbin, whose body was recovered from the Fox River near the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus. The case is under investigation.

Winnebago County dive and rescue teams were deployed to the river Monday after a report a person may have fallen through the ice, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Michael Philbin was missing Sunday night after last being seen with friends in Oshkosh early that morning,

He was the second of six children of Joe Philbin and his wife, Diane.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Joe Philbin was in Oshkosh and not at the team facility.

"The Philbin family is obviously going through a tough time right now and as we always have, we (have) a family-first philosophy in our organization, with our program," McCarthy said.

McCarthy said there were contingency plans if Philbin is not able to be with the team as it prepares for its playoff matchup Sunday with the New York Giants at Lambeau Field.

"Yes, we're prepared to do whatever we need to do as a staff to make sure our football team is ready to go," McCarthy said.
