
ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Corey Perry netted his fourth career hat trick and Teemu Selanne added a pair of goals Sunday in the Anaheim Ducks' 7-4 win over Columbus.
Perry scored in each period, with his last an empty-netter.
Saku Koivu contributed a goal and two assists, while Andrew Cogliano also found the net for the Ducks, who notched their second straight win.
Jonas Hiller made 9-of-11 saves before leaving with a lower body injury in the second period after making a save on the Blue Jackets' Rick Nash.
Iiro Tarkki entered, making his NHL debut, and turned aside 5-of-7 shots the rest of the way.
Nash scored twice, and Vinny Prospal added a goal and an assist for Columbus, which lost for the third time in four games in a battle of the NHL's two worst teams.
Steve Mason was pulled after yielding four goals on 16 shots. He was relieved by Curtis Sanford, who made eight stops for the Blue Jackets.
