NBA: San Antonio 121, Denver 117

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Danny Green popped in 24 points and Richard Jefferson was deadly from long range Saturday in San Antonio's 121-117 victory over Denver.

Green grabbed seven rebounds and Jefferson connected on five from beyond the arc en route to 19 points as the Spurs improved to 6-0 at home.

Tony Parker added 19 points and six assists, and DeJuan Blair contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds as San Antonio won a third straight game.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, saw their four-game winning streak snapped.

Danilo Gallinari poured in a game-high 31 points and grabbed five rebounds for Denver.
