DALLAS, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Ian Mahinmi and Vince Carter each scored 13 points and four other Mavericks reached double figures Saturday in Dallas' 96-81 win over New Orleans.

Delonte West and Jason Terry (12 points each), Rodrigue Beaubois (11) and Dirk Nowitzki (10) helped out offensively as the Mavs bounced back from a loss Thursday to San Antonio.

The injury-depleted Hornets again struggled without starting guard Eric Gordon.

Al-Farouq Aminu netted 15 points with 12 rebounds and Jarrett Jack added 13 points, but it wasn't enough to prevent New Orleans' sixth straight loss.
