Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- The scheduled championship match at the ASB Classic between Flavia Pennetta and Zheng Jie was postponed Saturday due to rain.
The match will be played Sunday and will be moved indoors if the rain persists.
Pennetta, ranked fourth, will be in her 21st career WTA final and will be trying for her 10th title. Zheng is 3-2 in her career finals, but has not won since 2006.
It will be their sixth meeting, with Pennetta holding a 3-2 edge.
