Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Antawn Jamison was one of six Cleveland players to reach double figures Friday in pacing the Cavaliers to a 98-87 decision over Minnesota.
Cleveland has won three out of four while the Timberwolves lost for the fifth time their seven games to date.
The Cavaliers have a winning record this season after going 19-63 during the 2010-11 campaign.
Jamison scored 22 points while the Cavaliers steadily built a lead that reached 20 points early in the fourth quarter. Kyrie Irving had 14 points for Cleveland and Anderson Varejao scored 13 with 11 rebounds.
Kevin Love paced the Timberwolves with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie Ricky Rubio scored 10 points.
Cleveland has won 11 of its last 15 games against Minnesota.
