Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

TORONTO, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Andrea Bargnani scored a season-best 31 points Wednesday that included three 3-pointers, boosting the Toronto Raptors over Cleveland 92-77.
Bargnani, who tallied 30 points in a loss to Dallas last week, grabbed seven rebounds and keyed a surge late in the third period.
Toronto had only a three-point lead with 5:30 to go in that period, but eventually went into the fourth quarter with a 12-point advantage.
DeMar DeRozan contributed 25 points for the Raptors, who have won two in a row after dropping three straight.
Cleveland had won its previous two outings. Antawn Jamison led the Cavaliers with 19 points and No. 1 overall draft choice Kyrie Irving had 12.
