SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Tony Parker scored 21 points Wednesday and finished off a 12-0 run in the fourth period that brought San Antonio back for a 101-95 win over Golden State.
The Spurs played their first game without Manu Ginobili, who will be out for two months with a broken hand, and also overcame a 38-point performance by Monta Ellis.
Ellis made two free throws with 6:46 remaining to give the Warriors an eight-point lead, but they did not score again for more than 3 minutes on their way to a third straight loss.
San Antonio has defeated Golden State 13 straight times and has not lost at home to the Warriors in 27 games, dating to Feb. 14, 1997.
Richard Jefferson had 17 points for the Spurs while Tim Duncan had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
