CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Ryan Anderson sparked Orlando to a quick start Friday, pushing the Magic to their third straight win with a 100-79 decision over Charlotte.
Orlando scored the game's first 11 points, seven of them coming from Anderson, and the Bobcats came no closer than four during the early stages of the second period.
The Magic built a 13-point halftime lead and coasted from there. Their three consecutive victories have come after they dropped their season opener in Oklahoma City.
Charlotte has played its first three games at home, losing two of them. The Bobcats, Portland and Golden State are the only NBA teams not to have played a road game.
Anderson led Orlando with 23 points and Dwight Howard had 20 points along with 24 rebounds. Howard also had 24 rebounds in Orlando's victory over New Jersey Thursday.
Corey Maggette scored 20 for the Bobcats, who hit just 36 percent of their field goal tries.
Orlando made 12 shots from 3-point range, five of those coming from Anderson.
