NBA: Portland 107, Philadelphia 103

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge poured in 25 points and Gerald Wallace added 21 for Portland Monday in the Trail Blazers' 107-103 victory over Philadelphia.

The pair combined for 16 rebounds as Portland logged a victory in the season opener for both teams.

The Trail Blazers, who lost in the first round of the playoffs for the third straight year last season, got 16 points and six rebounds from Wesley Matthews.

Philadelphia was led by Lou Williams with 25 points off the bench while Andre Iguodala contributed 22, eight rebounds and four blocks.

Spencer Hawes chipped in with 10 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists for the 76ers, who were also first-round victims in the 2010-11 playoffs, falling to the Miami Heat in five games.
