Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

MIAMI, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Norris Cole came off the bench to score 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter Tuesday, boosting the Miami Heat over Boston 115-107.
The 23-year-old rookie connected on 8-of-16 shots from the field and made three steals, giving a late boost to the Heat. LeBron James finished with 26 points and Dwyane Wade added 24, eight assists and four blocks for the Heat, who got 18 points and 11 rebounds from Chris Bosh.
The Celtics committed 24 turnovers, leading to 33 Miami points, in their second straight loss to start the season.
Ray Allen scored 28 points and Rajon Rondo added 22, 12 assists and eight rebounds -- but also committed seven turnovers for Boston.
