NBA: Toronto 104, Cleveland 96

CLEVELAND, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Jose Calderon scored 15 points to go with 11 assists and seven Raptors finished in double figures Monday, helping Toronto beat Cleveland 104-96.

Calderon added six rebounds while DeMar DeRozan, Ed Davis, Leandro Barbosa, Andrea Bargnani, Amir Johnson and Jerryd Bayless all ended with at least 10 points in the season opener for both clubs.

The balanced scoring attack handed new head Coach Dwane Casey a victory in his first game behind the bench for the Raptors, who went 22-60 last season under Jay Triano.

First-overall draft pick Kyrie Irving struggled in his debut for the Cavaliers, going 2-of-12 from the field and scoring six points. Ramon Sessions led Cleveland with 18 points off the bench.
