CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 26 (UPI) -- D.J. Augustin carried Charlotte down the stretch Monday, netting five of his 19 points late in the Bobcats' season-opening 96-95 win over Milwaukee.

Augustin's heroics in the game's final 66 seconds helped the Bobcats overcome a 14-point deficit in the second half. He dished out eight assists while Gerald Henderson contributed 18 points and nine rebounds for Charlotte.

The Bobcats were helped when Milwaukee went cold from the floor -- the Bucks could manage only 37 percent field goal efficiency in the second half.

Andrew Bogut netted 17 points with nine rebounds and Brandon Jennings scored 22 points for Milwaukee.
