EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Victor Cruz made a 99-yard TD grab Saturday and the New York Giants went on to a 29-14 win over the New York Jets, keeping their division title hopes alive.

Ahmad Bradshaw added a pair of second-half scores, helping Eli Manning overcome a 9-for-27 passing performance for the Giants (8-7), who came into Saturday's contest one game behind the division-leading Dallas Cowboys.

The Giants also came up big defensively in the fourth quarter, picking off Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, recovering his fumble and sacking him in the end zone for a safety.

The loss was a tough one for the Jets, who at 8-7 fell a game behind Cincinnati for the final AFC wild card spot.
