CHICAGO, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Ray Emery made 24 saves Friday and lost his shutout bid with just 1:47 to play Friday, carrying the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-1 victory over Anaheim.
The Ducks lost their franchise-record 10th straight road game.
Jamal Mayers scored the only first-period goal and Chicago boosted its advantage in the second on tallies from Marian Hossa and Dave Bolland.
Patrick Sharp moved within two goals of the league lead by producing his 17th of the season midway through the third period.
Teemu Selanne ended Emery's hopes for what would have been his first shutout of the season.
The Blackhawks have won four in a row and expanded their lead over Detroit in the Central Division to five points.
Jonas Hiller stopped 20-of-24 shots for the Ducks, who last had a road victory Oct. 27 at Minnesota. They have won just four of their 12 home games since then.
