NHL: Winnipeg 2, Minnesota 1

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Bryan Little's goal late in the third period Tuesday gave the Winnipeg Jets a 2-1 win over Minnesota and their fifth win in their last six games.

Little broke a 1-1 tie on a wrist shot behind Niklas Backstrom at 15:00 of the final period. Zach Bogosian also scored for the Jets and Ondrej Pavelec turned in 34 saves.

Backstrom had 25 saves for the Wild, whose seven-game winning streak came to an end.

Guillaume Latendresse gave Minnesota the early lead on a power-play goal off a rebound at 4:39 of the second period.

Bogosian tied it 1-1 at 8:37 of the second on a slap shot through traffic from the blue line.
