NASHVILLE, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Pekka Rinne notched 35 saves Tuesday in leading the Nashville Predators past Calgary 2-1.

Rinne allowed a second-period goal to Curtis Glencross but withstood a 13-shot flurry in the final period to carry the Preds to their third consecutive victory.

Matt Halischuk scored in the first period for Nashville and Colin Wilson broke a 1-1 tie with a power-play goal at 3:31 of the third period that proved to be the game winner. Wilson crashed the net and knocked in a rebound off Craig Smith's try from the right circle.
