NHL: Philadelphia 5, Tampa Bay 2

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Jaromir Jagr notched the go-ahead goal Saturday and the Philadelphia Flyers bested Tampa Bay 5-2 despite losing two key players.

Jagr scored with 3:12 left in the second period, putting the Flyers ahead to stay at 2-1, and added an assist.

Danny Briere, Scott Hartnell and Wayne Simmonds also registered a goal and an assist each as Philadelphia stretched its season-best winning streak to five games.

Ilya Bryzgalov started in net and stopped 14-of-16 shots, but departed nearly 7 minutes into the third period with an undisclosed injury. He was replaced by Sergei Bobrovsky, who turned aside the three shots he saw.

NHL points leader Claude Giroux of Philadelphia also left the game after two periods with an undisclosed injury.

Ryan Shannon and Vincent Lecavalier scored for the Lightning, who lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Mathieu Garon made 27 saves in the setback.
