MONTREAL, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Cody Hodgson completed a Vancouver comeback Thursday by scoring the only shootout goal that gave the Canucks a 4-3 win over Montreal.

Mason Raymond's shorthanded goal midway through the second period started Vancouver's rally and Sami Salo eventually tied it on the power play with 4:40 to go in regulation.

Hodgson's goal came in the first round of the shootout. The Canucks won their third straight and for the eighth time in nine games.

Luongo made 20 saves in the victory. Price stopped 28-of-31 shots.

Montreal has lost six out of seven, but each of its last three losses have been in overtime.
