NASHVILLE, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Keith Yandle's goal during a 4-on-4 situation late in the game Tuesday handed the Phoenix Coyotes a 3-2 decision over Nashville.

With both teams a man short in the waning moments of a 2-2 contest, Shane Doan skated down the right side and whipped a cross-ice pass to Yandle, whose wrist shot from the opposite circle eluded Pekka Rinne with 1:45 left.

Ray Whitney scored early in the final frame and Taylor Pyatt scored 9 seconds into the game for the Coyotes, who improved to 9-4-1 on the road.

Jason LaBarbera stopped 30-of-32 shots in his fifth start of the season for Phoenix.

Jack Hillen and Shea Weber scored for the Predators, who dropped a season-worst fourth straight game.

Rinne finished with 32 saves.
