OTTAWA, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Nick Foligno netted the go-ahead goal late in the game and Zack Smith scored two goals Monday in the Ottawa Senators' 4-2 victory over Tampa Bay.

Foligno emerged from behind the net to wrap the rebound of a Daniel Alfredsson shot around Lightning goalie Dwyane Roloson with 4:27 left in regulation, breaking a 2-2 tie.

Smith's second goal of the game, less than a minute later, iced it for the Senators, who won for the first time in December and improved to 18-4-4 in 26 home-ice matches against the Bolts.

Craig Anderson stopped 31-of-32 shots to earn the victory.

Bruno Gervais and Martin St. Louis scored for Tampa Bay, which has lost four straight.

Roloson finished with 27 saves.
