LAKE LOUISE, Alberta, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- American Lindsey Vonn took the super-G event Sunday, completing a three-race sweep at the Alpine World Cup women's downhill in Canada.
Vonn clocked in at 1 minute, 20.21 seconds in the super-G, adding it to her wins in the downhill Saturday and in Friday's Winterstart race.
It was Vonn's second career World Cup hat trick. She also accomplished the feat two years ago in Haus, Austria.
By finishing 0.19 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Anna Fenninger of Austria, Vonn remained unbeaten in Lake Louise.
Fellow American Julia Mancuso finished third, 0.71 seconds behind the leader.
"A hat trick is a rare thing to do, I felt like I skied better the previous days but a win is a win," Vonn said. "I didn't feel all that strong on top, but really attacked at the bottom and ended up having an amazing day."
She showed few, if any, effects of emotional turmoil after announcing last week she was getting divorced from her husband after four years of marriage.
