EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Nick Spaling's go-ahead goal in the third period provided the difference Monday in the Nashville Predators' 2-1 victory over Edmonton.
The Preds gained control of the puck deep in the Edmonton zone on an Oilers turnover with 7:39 remaining and Spaling buried a wrist shot into the upper corner of the net, breaking a 1-1 tie.
