Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Travis Lulay's two touchdowns passes Sunday propelled British Columbia past Winnipeg 34-23 to win the Canadian Football League's 99th Grey Cup.
Lulay, who won the CFL's Outstanding Player of the Year award last week, racked up 320 passing yards on 21-of-37 efficiency for the Lions, who claimed their second Grey Cup in five years.
Paul McCallum connected on 4-for-5 field goal attempts in the victory.
The Blue Bombers were led by Buck Pierce, who also hurled two TD passes. He finished with 250 yards while completing 19-of-37 pass attempts with an interception.
Greg Carr hauled down seven receptions for 107 yards and a score for Winnipeg.
