NHL: Phoenix 3, Dallas 0

GLENDALE, Ariz., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Mike Smith posted his second shutout of the season Saturday, turning aside 26 shots in the Phoenix Coyotes' 3-0 whitewash of Dallas.

Smith made goals by Ray Whitney, Mikkel Boedker and Taylor Pyatt stand up for the Coyotes' second win in three games.

The Stars, meanwhile, lost goalie Kari Lehtonen, who exited the game with an injury less than 6 minutes into the first period. He went down after stopping a shot by Derek Morris.

Andrew Raycroft let in all three goals on 36 shots in relief for the Stars, who lost for the seventh time in nine games.
