GLENDALE, Ariz., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Cory Schneider had to make just 21 saves for his second consecutive shutout Friday, boosting the Vancouver Canucks to a 5-0 drubbing of Phoenix.

Schneider also blanked Colorado Wednesday and has three shutouts in his 46 NHL appearances scattered over four seasons.

Vancouver won its third in a row, getting its first three goals when Sami Salo, Ryan Kesler and David Booth scored in a span of 2:12 in the second period. Maxim Lapierre and Alex Burrows added third period goals.

All the Vancouver scores came at even strength.

The five goals by the Canucks came off Mike Smith, who made 32 saves. Phoenix has lost three of its last five.
