ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Patrick Sharp finished off the second hat trick of his career during a four-goal Chicago third period Friday, lifting the Blackhawks past Anaheim 6-5.
Sharp ran his goal total for the season to 10 and Jonathan Toews had two goals to go with three assists in helping Chicago end a three-game losing streak.
Anaheim had a 4-2 lead going into the third period, but the Blackhawks produced four goals during the first half of the stanza.
Toews began the outburst by tipping in a shot 1:04 into the period. Sharp then scored the tying and go-ahead goal in the span of 2 minutes, and Toews finished off the surge with a power-play goal.
Corey Crawford picked up the win with 23 saves.
Bobby Ryan scored twice for the Ducks, who have won just twice in their last 17 games. Jonas Hiller stopped 28 shots before being relieved by Dan Ellis in the third period.
