GLENDALE, Ariz., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Radim Vrbata scored two of four unanswered Phoenix goals Wednesday, sending the Coyotes to a 4-2 win over Anaheim.
Phoenix handed the Ducks their fifth straight loss. Anaheim has just six wins in 21 games this year.
Keith Yandle overcame an early Phoenix deficit by scoring on a slap shot with 6:47 left in the first period.
Vrbata then scored on the power play late in the first to give the Coyotes the lead for good and he added a backhander with 2:29 remaining in the second. Oliver Ekman-Larsson finished off the four-goal stretch for Phoenix on a slap shot 4:27 into the third.
Vrbata has 11 goals this season and is on pace for a single-season career best. His largest one-year total has been 27, which he produced during the 2007-08 campaign.
He has had four multi-goal games this season.
Mike Smith made 19 saves in picking up the victory. Jonas Hiller allowed four goals on 29 shots.
