NHL: Dallas 4, Edmonton 1

DALLAS, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Steve Ott scored the game-winning goal Monday and the Dallas Stars snapped a five-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over Edmonton.

New owner Tom Gaglardi was introduced to the team before the contest, and gave the Stars a pep talk. The squad responded with its best game since a 5-2 win over Washington Nov. 8.

Toby Petersen also scored, Radek Dvorak added an empty-netter and Kari Lehtonen turned aside 17-of-18 shots to earn the win.
