Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

TORONTO, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Patrick O'Sullivan and Radim Vrbata scored in a shootout Tuesday, sealing the Phoenix Coyotes' 3-2 win over Toronto.
Sullivan tallied in the first round, and after Mike Smith made a pair of saves on Toronto's shooters, Vrbata sealed it with a backhander past Maple Leafs goalie Ben Scrivens.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Shane Doan also scored and Smith made 35 saves as the Coyotes who won for the third time in four games.
Toronto, meanwhile, dropped its fourth in five contests despite goals from Mike Komisarek and Phil Kessel.
Scrivens stopped 33 shots.
