CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Chris Johnson ran for 130 yards and a touchdown Sunday, posting his best game of the season in Tennessee's 30-3 pounding of Carolina.

Johnson's performance came on 27 carries while Matt Hasselbeck completed 15-of-27 passes for 219 yards, a touchdown and an interception as Tennessee (5-4) won for the second time in three games.

Johnson scored a 1-yard TD run -- only his second of the season -- late in the game.

Carolina (2-7) struggled as rookie quarterback Cam Newton was held in check.

He was limited to 212 yards on 23-of-40 passing, throwing one interception.
