NASHVILLE, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Max Pacioretty's wrist shot beat Pekka Rinne 2:31 into overtime Saturday, providing the game-winner in Montreal's 2-1 decision over Nashville.

Pacioretty took a feed from P.K. Subban deep in the left circle and sniped a long shot into the upper left corner of the net to the stick side of the Predators goalie.

David Desharnais also scored and Peter Budaj stopped 25-of-26 shots for the Canadiens, who won their second straight overtime game.

Shea Weber got the only goal for Nashville. Rinne finished with 23 saves.
