NHL: Nashville 4, Anaheim 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Craig Smith scored the first and last Nashville goals Wednesday, sending the Predators to a 4-2 victory over Anaheim.

The Ducks have lost six in a row, during which they have been outscored 22-8.

Smith scored 1:20 into the contest and Nashville never lost the lead. Patric Hornqvist made it a 2-0 game less than 4 minutes later, Martin Erat scored shorthanded midway through the second period and Smith delivered on a slap shot early in the third.

Hornqvist has eight goals for the season and Smith has seven. They have combined to produced 36 percent of Nashville's goals this year.

Pekka Rinne made 31 saves in the win. He allowed a first-period goal to Cam Fowler and a second-period score by Francois Beauchemin.

All four goals came against Jonas Hiller, who stopped 28 shots.
