

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Caroline Wozniacki ends the 2011 women's tennis schedule ranked No. 1 but Petra Kvitova has pulled very close to the top spot.
Wozniacki won six tournaments and was 63-17 this year. She's held the No. 1 position for the last 46 weeks and 64 weeks overall.
Kvitova also won six tournaments and was 60-13 after starting 2011 ranked No. 34. Her 7,370 rankings points is 115 behind Wozniacki's total.
The 2011 schedule ended Sunday and there are no changes in the Top 10.
Ana Ivanovic marked her 24th birthday with a repeat win at the Tournament of Champions in Indonesia, the final WTA event of the season. She improves her ranking to No. 22.
After Wozniacki and Kvitova, the rankings have Victoria Azarenka (6,520) in third, 10 points ahead of Maria Sharapova (6,510).
Fifth-ranked Li Na has 5,720 points, closely followed by No. 6 Samantha Stosur (5,585), seventh-ranked Vera Zvonareva (5,435) and Agnieszka Radwanska (5,250) in eighth.
Marion Bartoli (4,710) and Andrea Petkovic (4,580) complete the Top 10.
The next WTA tournaments are in Brisbane, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand, the week of Jan. 3.
