NHL: Nashville 4, San Jose 3 (OT)

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- David Legwand's second goal of the game came 2:53 into overtime Saturday, rallying the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 victory over San Jose.

Legwand's score off an assist from Francis Bouillon capped a Nashville comeback that saw the Predators erase a 3-1 third-period deficit.

Partic Hornqvist got the comeback rolling 2:57 into the frame when he tucked in the rebound of a Shea Webber shot.

The Predators pulled even only 3 minutes later when San Jose's Patrick Marleau was whistled for interference and Ryan Suter scored on the subsequent power play.

Pekka Rinne improved to 2-0 since signing a seven-year, $49 million contract Thursday, turning aside 35-of-38 shots to earn the win.

Joe Pavelski, Martin Havlat and Logan Couture found the net for the Sharks, who lost for only the second time nine games.

Antti Niemi stopped 31 shots in the setback.
