NHL: Tampa Bay 1, Winnipeg 0

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Dwyane Roloson earned his first shutout of the year Saturday, stopping 28 shots in the Tampa Bay Lightning's 1-0 decision over Winnipeg.

Roloson's whitewash was the 29th of his career. The veteran goalie came up big in the final period when he turned away 11 shots and made some impressive saves down the stretch.

Vincent Lecavalier scored the game's only goal during a second-period power play for the Lightning, who downed the Jets for the 12th straight time dating back to their days as the Atlanta Thrashers.

Ondrej Pavelec got the hard-luck loss, making 26 stops for the Jets, who fell to 3-6-1 to start their first season.
