NHL: Nashville 3, Anaheim 0

NASHVILLE, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Pekka Rinne registered his 100th career win with a shutout Saturday, backstopping the Nashville Predators' 3-0 win over Anaheim.

Rinne's busiest period was the second, when he turned aside all 10 shots he faced. He finished with 20 stops for the game to log his second shutout of the season and 22nd of his career.

Shea Weber finished with a goal an an assist for the Predators, who beat the Ducks in the playoffs last season and continued their dominance against them in their first meeting since last year's Western Conference series win.

Patric Hornqvist and Martin Erat also found the net for Nashville.

Jonas Hiller made 26 saves in the Ducks' loss.
