MLS: San Jose 4, FC Dallas 2

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Simon Dawkins bagged two goals Saturday and the San Jose Earthquake scored four times in the first half to down FC Dallas 4-2.

Rafael Baca and Chris Wondolowski also scored for San Jose.

Wondolowski finished the regular season tied with D.C. United's Dwayne De Rosario for the MLS scoring lead with 16 goals.

Despite the win, the Earthquake missed the post-season, finishing in seventh place in the Western Conference at 8-12-14.

George John and Ruben Luna found the net for playoff-bound FC Dallas (15-12-7), which claimed the fourth spot in the West.
